Obituary for John Christopher "JD" Dorcinville

ATTENTION: During this COVID-19 crisis, as we slowly begin to phase back into small capacity public visitations/services, we need your help in limiting and controlling the number of people inside the funeral home, church, AND cemetery. WE HAVE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS FOR SERVICES FRIDAY 8/21 & SATURDAY 8/22 - PLEASE READ IN DETAIL BELOW BEFORE EVEN ATTEMPTING TO ATTEND ANYTHING PLEASE! Thank you so kindly!

ALL seating for the visitation/wake on Fri., 8/21 is already taken by invitation only. What IS being ALLOWED, however, is a constant stream of attendees, in groups of two (2), to just BRIEFLY walk through to give their respects and leave, during the 4:00PM-6:00PM TIME period ONLY. So during that time period, in groups of 2 with your masks on & phones away, you will be allowed to come to the front door, get hand sanitizer, sign the register book (NOTE: please feel free to bring your own pen), walk through to offer any brief condolence to the family keeping social distance (NO touching/hugging/handshaking, ONLY elbow bumping briefly if at all), briefly view, and immediately leave the building & premises (you will literally be in the funeral home for probably a minute or less). Once 6:00PM comes, NO one else will be admitted and ALL must leave the funeral home & vicinity. The Funeral Service at the church AND Burial at Kensico are BOTH PRIVATE, for INVITED attendees only, of which we're already at capacity. There will be a Zoom of the service Sat., please contact the church or the family for details to view. Please follow & abide by the directions of the funeral home staff and/or church personnel at all times. We Thank You in advance for following directions & NYS law, so as to make all go smoothly on each day of the services, to eliminate further burden on the family, and to maintain the health & safety of All. Any questions, or if any clarity is needed, please call ahead to the funeral home and/or speak to us from a safe distance at any visitation.

We are at the maximum capacity for allowed attendees to the funeral service at church AND the burial at Kensico, so they're BOTH PRIVATE. If you have not been specifically invited & confirmed by the family to either, there is NO MORE SPACE, you can NOT attend & will be refused, so please be respectful of the law, policies of the establishments, and the family, and do NOT even try to attend the funeral service at the church nor the burial at Kensico please! What IS being ALLOWED, however, is a constant stream of attendees, in groups of two (2), to just BRIEFLY walk through to give their respects and leave, during the Sat. 9:00AM-9:45AM TIME period BEFORE the funeral ONLY. There is even limited space outside, so there can NOT even be a gathering of people, whether standing outside of your cars or seated inside your cars, at or around the funeral home, church, NOR at or around the cemetery, please. But again, there will be a Zoom of the service Sat., so please contact the church or the family for details to view. We All appreciate you all for Respecting & Following any/all the above, all policies & NYS laws if you plan to attend the viewing/visitation this Fri.4:00PM-6:00PM at Lee's Funeral Home &/or Sat. 9:00AM-9:45AM at The French Speaking Baptist Church, as previously specified. Thank you so kindly!
