Tyrone graduated from White Plains High School and attended Boces Cooking School. He was a very loving and giving person and made friends with everyone he met. He loved to cook and was always willing to cook for you.
He attended Calvary Baptist Church and was an active member of Cornerstone Lodge #33. He received several awards and certificates for community service.
He leaves to cherish his memory two loving sisters, Joyce Thomas (devoted), of White Plains, NY, Brenda Burwell of Richmond, VA; three loving brothers, Sterling Mial of Manhattan, NY, Anthony Burwell of Easton, MD and his devoted twin, Terence Burwell of Yonkers, NY; two uncles, Thomas Rainey (Mary) of Peekskill, NY and Oliver Hargrove of Richmond, VA, many nieces and nephews of which he loved dearly as well as other beloved family and friends of his community.
God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be.
He wrapped his arms around you and whispered “Come to me.”
You didn’t deserve what you went through, so He gave you needed rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful. He only takes the best.
To My Family
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an after flow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo, whispering softly down the ways,
of happy and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun,
of happy memories that I leave, when life is done.
With Grateful Appreciation
We appreciate the love, prayers and support bestowed upon us during our time of sadness. May God bless you all. – The Family
