Immediately after high school, Karl was a Plumber’s Apprentice with White Plains Local 299. He retired from the Westchester County Department of Corrections after twenty-five years of service. Karl was known for his storytelling, laughter, and his love of music, especially classic crooners like Billy Eckstein, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Hartman, and Jack Jones. Karl had a big heart and loved his family and friends.

Also surviving are two nephews, Jayden and James; two nieces, Caroline and Danica; two godchildren, Kyra Wadden and Joseph Carrier; separated spouse, Orlanda Wyatt; partner, Carlette Mitchell; a host of cousins and many, many friends.
