He loved the youth and devoted his life to teaching and guiding them. Dion always said, “the best teacher is your example”.

Dion was married to Taheera Bilal in 2011. They were blessed with 2 children: Blessing Nia and Lamar, who Dion affectionately referred to as his “SUN.”

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: his wife & children; his parents Yusef & Sharon Muhammad of Virginia Beach, VA; his in-laws Hassan & Gail Bilal of Greenburgh, NY; two brothers: Tyrell Bridgers (Camille) & Taj Bridgers both of White Plains, NY; Grandparents Albert & Juanita Rice of Virginia Beach, VA; two brothers-in-law: Hassan Bilal (Simone) of Stamford, CT; Rashad Bilal of White Plains, NY; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
