Parking is very limited, even for funeral services. Any parking on Fisher Court is intended for immediate family, but is public, so on a first come first secured basis, and meters may possibly be suspended during service but that is NEVER a guarantee, & definitely NOT extended during repasts. Parking may be allowed in front of the Slater Center, the same side as the center, the block of the center only. There is NO parking allowed at all on Quarropas St. in front of the new WP Education & Training Ctr. Parking on any neighboring streets/at meters must follow/abide by all regular rules/fee & time schedules/laws. Parking is available at nearby City Municipal Lots like at The Library on Martine Ave.; lots at Quarropas & Court Sts.; & lot on Longview. There is NO parking in the lots for The Slater Center or The Housing Authority at any time. Not adhering to rules & regulations will result in being ticketed or towed at owner's expense.

Private burial services have already been held. A public Memorial Service is being held as outlined/scheduled above. The Repast reception will be immediately following the Memorial Service. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates/kindly requests memorial donations be made in his name to Bethel Baptist Church (either at address/info above, or also online here through donation tab on menu here). As this is a memorial service, if flowers sent despite family request, sending plants and/or vases are preferable, and should be delivered on Mon., Sept. 11th by/before 6:00pm to Bethel Baptist Church. You may also light a candle above in his honor/memory as a form of condolence/sympathy.
