Breaking the ice

When Peter first came to the Metric, he was rough on the outside. Full of gruff bravado and aggressivness, we naturally paired up. We would routinely joke about meeting in the ring for a bout and I would always defer as I wanted to keep my boyish looks away from his fists (LOL).

I have spent several years training in Thai kicking boxing and Tae Kwon Do and will only use pads, preferring fists for 'real business'. The day I finally agreed to meet him on the mat, we had become freinds, he backed down from meeting me for the challenge. Everyone talked it up that Peter was scared of me, but it showed me the loyalty he had for his friends...
