William “Willie” A. Kitchings Bio
(1922-2017)

William lived in the city of White Plains for 57 years, after living in New York City for over 15 years.

William was born on November 5, 1922 to parents Willie and Ruby Kitchings (Deceased). He was the eldest of three children; Siblings: Sister - Juanita K. Pierce (Deceased); Brother – Earl S. Kitchings (Deceased).

Affectionately known as Willie, he attended Stanton High school in Jacksonville, FL, before embarking on a Chef & Cooking career as a Merchant Seaman, serving on the S.S. United States Oceanliner. He would then retire as an Executive Chef from Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, New York.

Willie was married for 31 years to Marian Kitchings (Deceased).
