OBITUARY

DAKISHA DENEEN JONES (Kisha) was born on February 2, 1974 to Helen Diane Jones Romano and Walter Jenkins. In Port Chester, NY.

Kisha was educated through the Port Chester public School systems. As a Child she became a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church, Port Chester NY. Under the leadership of the late Rev. Phinzy Bush. There, Kisha was Baptised and was a very active member of the youth Ministry, she served on the youth choir and the Junior Usher Board.

Kisha was a very outgoing person, she loved people. She loved her family very much. Whenever there was a family function Kisha was there. You could always catch her on the phone listening to and giving guidance to those who needed. If she wasn't on the phone she was watching her cooking show to make meals for the family. When she was out and unable to cook or watch it on TV, she would be on the cooking app on her phone. She will be greatly missed.

her spouse Cindy Z Jones of Queens NY "her baby" Melo Jones, her mother Helen (Juan) Romano, one brother, Varun (Antoinette) Jones of Sailsbury, Maryland. 3 nieces Anaiya, Taleeya, and Brielle Jones all of Maryland. One nephew Ja'vere Jones. One special sister/cousin Tarra (James) Crenshaw, Mount Vernon NY. Two aunts Ann Polycarpe of White Plains NY and Vevelyn Perkins of Texas. Two uncles, James Jones of Ossining, NY and Larry Jones of Mount Vernon, NY. Eight first cousins, Shaneda Edwards, Rashamel Jones, Branden Jones, Eugene Cardines, Earl Perkins, Yolanda Jones, Lauren and Chloe Fontecchio.
