Condolence From: P. Henderson
Condolence: I am very sorry for your loss. May you take comfort in knowing that Jeffrey is only asleep in death and that soon Jesus will awaken him. (John 11:11-14) In God’s new Kingdom for which we pray, we will never have to mourn the loss of our loved ones again. (Matt. 6:10; Psalm 37:11, 29; Rev. 21:4) I hope this brings you peace.

Condolence From: Tressie Rooks
Condolence: Dear Glenn, Ellen, Michelle and Wayne, your father/grandfather will be truly missed!! I always loved talking with him and getting his point of view on many things!! There were no subjects that I couldn't talk with him about. I will tell you this - he loved all of you very much!!! We often talked about being a parent/grandparent and the responsibilities that went with that honor! He loved telling stories about you all, your strengths, weakness and mostly that you all were good people!! "Lil" Wayne, you had a special place in his heart!! I will miss him, but will cherish his memory forever. Love you, Tressie

Condolence From: Tony Howard
Condolence: The Howard family would like to extend our sincere condolences to Glenn and his sisters Ellen and Michelle. Glenn introduced me to his father many years ago. Since that initial meeting, I always felt honored to talk to Mr. McCray on many subjects, because he reminded me of one of those truly educated Black Men from an era in the South that regularly produced outstanding quiet, quality Black Men who were not only a role model for his family, but the entire community. We will all miss Mr. McCray's wise counsel but take comfort in the knowledge that his life of 91 years is a testament of the Blessing the Creator Bestowed upon him because he lived his life always in harmony with the rules and principles laid down by God our Creator for all of us to follow. REST IN PEACE Mr. U. Jeffery McCray for a life truly well lived.
