U. Jeffrey McCray was born on March 27, 1925 and was called home on March 23, 2017. He was a graduate of Hampton University, Hampton, VA with a B.S. Degree. A veteran of the U. S. Navy, he served as a Navy Officer. A teacher, he retired from the White Plains School District after many years service.

The love of his life for over 50 years, Willianna McCray predeceased him in 2006. He is survived by his daughters, Ellen McCray-O'Blines, & Michelle McCray; his son Glenn McCray; his grandson Wayne Effort, II, and a host of friends & relatives.
